my work... past & present

When I think about my work, I realize that I have been a creator for as long as I can remember. I still love all the various mediums that I have worked with and crave to explore more. Some pieces are simple and others complex with multiple layers. Here are various projects some past and some ongoing, from small watercolor paintings, photography, mixed media, and design.

Invoking the old art of Tin Types, this is a collection of photographs... dreamy horses and mist filled landscapes that I have been working on over the last 3 years.

Every year in Hoi An Vietnam, the waters rise and fall, leaving behind beautiful peeling textured  walls of colors and moss

Inspired by the vast expanse of land that I live on, I love the way the old fences stitch across the landscape, the layers of light that dance across the mountains, and the soft color tones that depict the season.

These were an experiment on merging photography with acrylic, found objects, and resin. It's time to embrace this medium again...

I'm Inspired by the way places and objects of the West have aged and stood the test of time. The patina of old metal, the sun baked wood, the items left behind take my mind to stories of the past.
